President Gary Spillers pioneered the luxury sports condominium concept. The revelation of “sports condominium” came to him as a spin off of the highly sought-after condominium parking lots adjacent to the University of South Carolina football stadium, which serve as prime tailgate gathering spots. By adding luxury lodging, Gary brought his idea to fruition at Auburn University in 1998. Since then, he has developed sports condominiums throughout the Southeastern United States, including those located at Auburn University, University of Alabama, University of Georgia and Florida State University. With more than thirty-five years of real estate experience, Gary boasts numerous awards from the National Association of Realtors, National Homebuilders Association including the prestigious MIRM designation. The Realtors’ Association awarded him the GRI and CRB designations plus the Commercial Investment CCIM designation. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Gary is a 1970 Troy University graduate and a former football all-conference linebacker and team captain.

Mark S. Hiatt leads the construction and development team. With a keen sense of project management, Mark specializes in the development and construction of projects greatly ranging in complexity, configuration and size. Mark’s wealth of experience includes more than twenty years of construction and development management, including commercial, multi-family residential and retail developments. Prior to embarking on a career within the commercial real estate industry, Mark served for five years in the United States Army, attaining rank of Captain. Mark is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds a Master of Business Administration from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

The face of Champion’s Centre, Sales Manager Chris Bearden is a 2004 graduate of Purdue University. With a strong background in residential real estate, Chris is delighted to make available the Champion's Centre sports condominiums to fellow alumni. A native of Lafayette, IN, Chris and his family reside in Lafayette.
